Thomas Mulvahill

Thomas Francis Mulvahill is a judge for the Twentieth Judicial District serving Boulder County, Colorado. He was appointed by Governor Bill Ritter in October of 2009.[1][2][3]
Education
Mulvahill received his undergraduate degree from St. John's University and his law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law.[1]
Career
Mulvahill began his career working as a Chief Prosecutor and Deputy City Attorney in the City of Lakewood and as a Deputy District Attorney in Denver. He then practiced with the Denver firm of Chambers Dansky & Mulvahill LLC until his judicial appointment in 2009. Prior to the appointment, he was the managing partner of this firm.[1]
Elections
2012
Mulvahill was retained in the general election on November 6, winning 79.64% of the vote.[4]

Judicial performance evaluation
The Twentieth Judicial District Commission on Judicial Performance announced its recommendations for judges up for retention in 2012. According to its website, the commission evaluates judges based on the following criteria: integrity, legal knowledge, communication skills, judicial temperament, and administrative performance.[5]
Judge Mulvahill was recommended for retention by an unanimous vote. [6]
