Thomas R. Culver III
Thomas R. Culver III was the judge of the 240th District Court in Texas.[1] He joined the court in 1990 and was re-elected in 2014.[2][3]
He retired on June 30, 2015.[4]
Education
Culver received both his undergraduate and J.D. degrees from Baylor University in 1971 and 1973, respectively.[2]

- 1977-1981: First assistant district attorney, Fort Bend County

Primary: He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014.
General: He won without opposition in the general election on November 4, 2014.

Culver defeated Democrat Fredericka Allen in the general election, winning 59.2 percent of the vote.[7]
