Thomas R. Murtagh was a justice of the Superior Court in Massachusetts.[1] Murtagh was admitted to the bar in 1969 and appointed to the bench in 2004 by Governor Mitt Romney.[2] Murtagh's term expired on February 11, 2014 when he reached the mandatory retirement age of 70.[3][4]
