Thomas S. Utschig

Thomas S. Utschig was a bankruptcy court judge for the Western District of Wisconsin. Judge Utschig was appointed in 1986 and was succeeded on the court by Catherine J. Furay in January 2013.[1]

Career

Judge Utschig graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1969, and in 1977 from the William Mitchell School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota.[2]

Presentations

In February 22, 2008 Judge Utschig gave a lecture at the Institute for Graduate Studies and Research of the Anton de Kom University in Suriname. Utschig addressed the functioning of the U.S. judicial system, with a focus on what causes bankruptcy in the United States of America.[2]
