Thomas David Swindle is an associate judge for the 36th Circuit Court in Missouri. He is also a municipal court judge for the municipalities of Doniphan and Naylor in Ripley County.[1] He was elected to the court in November 2006 and re-elected in 2010.[2]

Swindle was re-elected to the 36th Judicial Circuit Court in 2014 for a term that expires on December 31, 2018.[3]

Education

Swindle received his undergraduate degree from Southeast Missouri State University in 1978 and his J.D. degree from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University in 1981.[2][4]

Career

Before he became a judge, Swindle worked as an attorney in private practice for over twenty-five years, specializing in criminal defense and family law. He also previously served as an assistant prosecuting attorney in Ripley County from 1983 to 1984.[2][5]
