Thomas Townsend
Thomas Townsend (Democratic Party) is a member of the Iowa State Senate, representing District 36. He assumed office on January 2, 2025. His current term ends on January 2, 2029.
Townsend (Democratic Party) ran for election to the Iowa State Senate to represent District 36. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Thomas Townsend served six years in the U.S. Navy. His career experience includes working as the business manager for IBEW Local 704 and as a journeyman wireman. As of his 2024 campaign, he was serving as the president of the Dubuque Area Labor Harvest.[1]
