Thomas W. Cooper, Jr. is an active/retired circuit court judge for the Third Judicial Circuit in South Carolina. He was elected to the court by the South Carolina General Assembly in February 1992. Cooper retired in September 2006 and has been serving as an active/retired judge for the Third Judicial Circuit since then.

Cooper received his undergraduate degree in history from the University of South Carolina in 1963 and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1973.
