Thomas White Brothers (Democratic Party) is a judge for Division VI of the Tennessee 20th Judicial District Circuit Court. His current term ends on September 1, 2030.

Brothers (Democratic Party) ran for re-election for the Division VI judge of the Tennessee 20th Judicial District Circuit Court. He won in the general election on August 4, 2022.

Brothers was appointed to the court by former Governor Ned McWherter in February 1989.[1][2][3][4][5]

Biography

Education

Brothers received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1973 and his J.D. degree from the Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1977.[2]

Career

Brothers began his career in 1978 as a solo practitioner working in the law offices of Jack Norman. In 1989, he was appointed to the Twentieth Circuit Court. From 1991 to 1993, Brothers served as the presiding judge of the Twentieth District Chancery Court.[2]
