Thompson's federal nomination confirmed

Washington, D.C.: Judge Rogeriee Thompson was confirmed by the U.S. Senate to the United States Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit. The former Rhode Island Superior Court judge was recommended to President Obama by Senators Sheldon Whitehouse and Jack Reed.^[1]
