Three finalists chosen for Wyoming District Court seat

Cheyenne, Wyoming: The Wyoming Judicial Nominating Commission has concluded their search for a worthy replacement for retiring Judge Jere A. Ryckman of the 3rd District Court. The Commission has chosen three qualified candidates:
- Judge Dan Forgey - of the 3rd Circuit Court
- Richard Lavery - a former state Bar Association President and current Evanston-based lawyer
- John Prokos - Chief Deputy Attorney for Sweetwater County
This list of names has been sent to the Governor, who will make the final appointment. Judge Ryckman has served on the court for 24 years and plans to retire on May 21.[1]
