Oklahoma: Tulsa County District Judge P. Thomas Thornbrugh, former Tulsa City attorney Deirdre Dexter and associate district Judge Michael D. DeBerry are being considered by Governor Mary Fallin for an open seat on the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals. The seat was made available when Judge Doug Gabbard retired earlier this month. Thornbrugh has been a presiding Judge since July 2009, and was chosen by his colleagues for that position, for the Tulsa County district. Dexter is a private attorney who was appointed to an associate district judgeship but lost her position during an election three years later. DeBerry was recently re-elected to his position as associate district judge in 2010.[1][2]
