Three judges retire from D.C. Superior Court

Washington, D.C.: Three judges of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia have announced their retirements. Brook Hedge, Kaye K. Christian and Judith E. Retchin plan to retire in December of 2010, after almost two decades of service each.
Judge Hedge joined the court in 1992 and is overseeing the notable $20 million civil suit regarding Robert Wone's murder in 2006. Judge Christian was appointed to the bench in 1990. Judge Retchin was appointed in 1992, after working as a former prosecutor in the U.S. attorney's office.[1]
