Three new judges assigned to Superior Courts

Auburn, Maine: Three new judges are expected to join the Maine Superior Court in October of 2010.
MaryGay Kennedy, of the 9th District Court at Portland, will replace Thomas Delahanty, who left the court to become a U.S. Attorney. Kennedy has served on the Superior Court since 2007 and was formerly a private practice lawyer.
Ann M. Murray is the former Chief Judge of the Maine District Courts. She has been a district court judge since 1999 and was assigned to the Penobscot County Superior Court.
Robert E. Murray (cousin of Ann Murray) has worked as a District Judge in Bangor since 2004. Previously, he was a commissioner for the Department of Professional and Financial Regulation. He will join the Kennebec County Superior Court.
The following judges will fill the ensuing vacancies on the district courts: Family Court Magistrates Susan Oram and Bruce A. Jordan; and the Governor's chief legal counsel, Patrick Ende.[1]
