|Within the schools, I am serving as the District Accountability Committee parent co chair and member of the budget and accreditation subcommittees. I have been on the School Accountability Committees at 4 different schools, a 2018 district Volunteer of the Year finalist, and participated in numerous school events. Most recently, I was the sole parent on the Strategic Planning Task Force.
Through my personal and professional experiences, I am ready to I bring a voice from a variety of perspectives to ASD20.
- ALL students deserve to thrive which includes a variety of academic opportunities and adequate mental health support
- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion can be a strength for our community. Differences in learning, income, language and differently abled students are included in DEI.
- The district must focus on retention of our dedicated teachers and all support staff. Our children need this stability in the schools.
