I was born in Vietnam and attended law school in Chicago at the John Marshall Law School after achieving a bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. While attending university in Wisconsin, I worked in a factory soldering chips into electronic equipment.

I am the first and only Republican candidate running countywide for Cook County Circuit Court judge in the last 14 years.

I have worked in courtrooms full time since 2009 and help manage one of the largest municipal hearing facilities in the nation. As an experienced prosecutor and fair hearing officer, who protected the public, the citizens of Chicago and from the surrounding areas have been my only boss.
  • Balance matters. A diverse bench can give the public more confidence in the court.
  • Public safety is my highest priority. As a mother, I understand how important public safety matters.
  • Victims' rights matter.
One of the government's most fundamental duties is to protect citizens from crime.

Victims' rights should be a central part of the judicial process.
I have a reputation as a tough but fair prosecutor and hearing officer.
Ensuring fairness

Maintaining order in the courtroom
Instructing juries
Deciding facts

Expediting punishments of perpetrators
I have young children. I want them to be able to walk at night when they are adults with children in a safer city and county.
Mastering multiple languages has been a challenge but also an achievement that gives me great satisfaction and pride. I've worked as a translator for English and French speaking employees in Vietnam, and now I practice law in the United States.
