I'm a small business owner, a mom, and part of a farm family with deep roots in our community. Like so many Hoosiers, I care deeply about the future of our rural towns, our schools, our farms, our roads, and the opportunities available to the next generation.
I'm running to make sure rural communities like ours have a strong voice at the Statehouse. I believe leadership should be about people over politics, listening to our neighbors, and working together to move our communities forward.
As someone who lives and works in a rural community, I see firsthand the challenges families face and the opportunities that good policy can create. Government should be focused on solving real problems, investing in strong communities, and making sure the people who live and work here have the tools they need to succeed.
For me, public service is about listening to people, understanding their concerns, and working to turn those concerns into practical solutions that improve lives.- Strong public schools are the foundation of strong communities. In rural areas like ours, schools are more than classrooms, they are gathering places, employers, and the heart of our towns.
I believe Indiana must prioritize funding for public schools so that every student, no matter their ZIP code, has access to quality teachers, safe facilities, and strong academic and career opportunities. We should support teachers, invest in modern classrooms, and ensure schools have the resources they need to help students succeed.
When we invest in public education, we invest in the future of our workforce, our local economies, and our communities. - Rural communities deserve the same attention and investment as larger cities. Many of our small towns are facing challenges like population loss, aging infrastructure, limited healthcare access, and economic uncertainty. I believe we must focus on policies that strengthen rural Indiana, supporting family farms, protecting agricultural land, expanding broadband access, maintaining safe roads and bridges, and encouraging small business development. Rural communities are the backbone of our state. When we invest in them, we strengthen Indiana as a whole.
- Families across Indiana are feeling the pressure of rising costs, from groceries and utilities to housing and healthcare. Too many hardworking Hoosiers are doing everything right and still struggling to get ahead. I believe the state government should focus on practical solutions that make everyday life more affordable. That includes addressing rising healthcare costs, supporting workforce development, ensuring fair utility policies, and investing in economic growth that benefits local communities. Government should work for the people who live here, not just for large corporations. My focus is on policies that help working families build stable and secure futures.
Too often, politics becomes focused on party fights, headlines, or special interests. I believe the true purpose of public service is much simpler and more important, making everyday life better for the people in our communities.
