Primary: She was defeated in the primary on November 4, 2014, receiving 24.9 percent of the vote. She competed against Monique Metoyer, Monique Rauls, and Clifton J. Spears, Jr.. [1][2]

Education

Sanders received a B.A. in political science from Louisiana State University and a J.D. degree from the Southern University Law Center.[3]

Career

Sanders runs a private practice, the Tiffany N. Sanders Law Firm. She is a former assistant city attorney for Alexandria, Louisiana, and has also been an associate at the law firms of Faircloth, Vilar & Elliott, LLC and the Auzenne Law Firm. She also has a weekly radio show called "Laying Down the Law with Tiffany N. Sanders", which provides free legal advice.[3][4]
