I’ve been deeply rooted in Indiana for 25 years as a small business owner, active volunteer, mother of four, and wife of a Colonel in the Army Reserves. I have a valuable and wide set of business experience and community leadership.

I earned a Masters Degree in Information and Communications Sciences from Ball State University. For 17 years, I worked as a network architect and senior program manager for Accenture, one of the largest global consulting firms. I was involved in network technology installations, program management and budgeting, along with training development.

I'm also an entrepreneur who created an international award-winning commercial photography business with my brother in 2001. We've photographed some of the largest events in Indiana over the years. During the pandemic, I photographed 650 families at their doorstep from the rooftop of my truck. I've led fundraisers that have raised a more than $250,000 for charities I am passionate about: Habitat for Humanity Women's Build, Our Military Kids, Wish Upon A Wedding, Moms Demand Action and Gleaners Food Bank.

Throughout my career, I have honed the skills necessary to navigate complex challenges. I intend to make informed decisions based on research and ongoing collaboration with a wide, diverse network. I pride myself on being solution-oriented, collaborative and fiercely resourceful. I have a tremendous amount of energy to represent my district. Let’s work together for a better Indiana.
  • I am running to be State Representative because I want Indiana to be the home where my kids and yours want to build a thriving and successful future. Unfortunately, more people are moving out of Indiana than in. Hoosiers should be in the spotlight for their valuable accomplishments and contributions. We are what we focus on, and lately that has not been in the best interest of the everyday Hoosier trying to build a future. I am passionate about continuing my servant leadership for Indiana. After meeting with thousands of Hoosiers, I’ve learned they want sensible leaders that act on their constituent's concerns and not personal agendas. It's important we have fearlessly curious conversations devoid of negativity.
  • Hoosiers want a reasonable voice to represent them in the general assembly. They want civility and sensibility. And they're seeking balance after the supermajority has been in power for almost two decades. Supermajorities limit checks and balances and make a less effective legislative process. And it's the reason why Indiana is often in the national spotlight for laws that don’t reflect the electorate. You can trust me to represent you, not only because of the experience I bring to the table, but because I have always chosen people over party. I’m not going to the statehouse to vote along my party line. I’m going there to make change that everyone can benefit from regardless of if you’re a republican, democrat, or something in between.
  • I believe public education is the bedrock of our community and ultimately the future of its economic success. As the demands of education have grown, our schools are being asked to do more while being stripped of resources. Our teachers are being stretched, fewer are pursuing teaching, and more are leaving altogether. Education influences a child's future employment and wage-earning potential, and ultimately their quality of life. As a mother of four who have matriculated through the public school system, I believe in protecting the value it. Without high-quality public schools, our property values will all decrease.
We should strive to have strong, vibrant and safe communities with satisfactory infrastructure and well-funded schools. I am committed to several key priorities, including: 1) public education, 2 ) women’s medical freedom, 3) support for business community, 4) local control for municipalities, 5) responsibly controlling our fiscal/budget matters and 5) cleaning/protecting our waterways and lakes.

We need to respectfully have tough conversations. I've learned after talking to thousands of voters that when you are willing to collaborate and compromise, important things get done for Indiana. As your House Representative, I will educate myself and strive to understand those on all sides of an issue.
When I was a sophomore in high school, we watched the Challenger as it exploded.
I’m the wife of a Colonel in the Army and the military has been the most consistent thread in our marriage. When Tim left for Iraq during the surge, three of my kids were in diapers and the “man” of the house was the ripe old age of six!
