A Tillamook County Water Supply District Formation measure was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Tillamook County, which is in Oregon, where it was defeated.
If approved, this measure would have formed the Pioneer Water Supply District and authorizes it to levy a permanent property tax rate of $1 per $1,000 of assessed valuation. This tax will generate an approximate $103,706 per year and be used primarily to eventually fund improvements to the water supply.[1]
