Bryant won re-election to the Okaloosa County School District school board to represent District 4 in Florida outright in the primary on August 20, 2024, after the primary and general election were canceled.

Two of the five seats on the Okaloosa County School District school board were up for by-district primary election on August 30, 2016. District 2 incumbent Dewey Destin filed for re-election and was joined on the ballot by Mark Williams. Destin was successful in his bid for an additional term on the board. Two newcomers filed for the open District 4 seat: Tim Bryant and Charles Cawthon, with Bryant winning the seat over Cawthon.[1]
