Tim Butler (Illinois)
Tim Butler (Republican Party) is a former member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing District 87 from 2015 to 2022. Butler was re-elected in 2022 to represent District 95, but he resigned from the state House on December 31, 2022, to become president of the Illinois Railroad Association.[1]
Biography
Tim Butler earned a B.A. in political science from Eastern Illinois University in 1990. Butler's career experience includes working as the district chief of staff to former Congressmen Ray LaHood and Rodney Davis, a senior advisor to Rodney Davis' 2012 congressional campaign, and the director of marketing of St. John's Hospital. He has served as the president of the Illinois Railroad Association.[2][3]
