Tim Eichenberg (Democratic Party) is the Bernalillo County Treasurer in New Mexico. He assumed office on January 1, 2025. His current term ends on January 1, 2029.
Eichenberg is also a member of the Albuquerque Metropolitan Arroyo Flood Control Authority in New Mexico, representing District 3. He assumed office in 1995. His current term ends on December 31, 2025.
Eichenberg is running for re-election to the Albuquerque Metropolitan Arroyo Flood Control Authority to represent District 3 in New Mexico. He is on the ballot in the general election on November 4, 2025.[source]
Political career
New Mexico Treasurer (2015-2023)
Eichenberg was first elected in 2014 and was sworn into office in January 2015. He replaced James B. Lewis (D), who served from 2006 to 2014.[1] Eichenberg was re-elected in 2018.
New Mexico Senate, District 15 (2009-2013)
Eichenberg represented District 15 in the New Mexico State Senate from 2009 to 2013. Eichenberg announced in July 2012 that he would not seek re-election to the New Mexico Senate in 2012.[2][3]

Eichenberg ran for election as Treasurer of New Mexico. Eichenberg won the Democratic nomination in the primary on June 3, 2014, defeating challenger John Wertheim. The general election took place on November 4, 2014.[4]

Eichenberg initially declared to run for re-election in 2012. He ran unopposed in the June 5, 2012, Democratic primary. In July 2012, he dropped out of the race and was replaced by Daniel Ivey-Soto.[5][6]
2008

On November 4, 2008, Eichenberg was elected to the 15th District Seat in the New Mexico Senate, besting H. Diane Snyder (R).[7] Eichenberg raised $290,982 for his campaign, while Snyder raised $170,273.[8]
