I have resided in Wisconsin my entire life. I worked throughout my time in high school, graduating from Kaukauna High in '09. I then continued my education at UW-Oshkosh graduating in 2013. After graduating I worked as a paralegal while studying for the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT) and was admitted to Marquette University Law School and graduated in 2018.

After becoming an attorney I practiced Family Law and Estate Planning at a private law firm in Sauk City, Wisconsin. I also represented minor children as Guardian ad Litem (GAL) in Columbia County, Wisconsin. Through my Family Law and GAL practice I spoke with many parents and children regarding the state of education during the COVID-19 Pandemic and how the learning that took place failed many children.

This experience, combined with the direction the country appears to be headed over the last decade, brought me to leave my position as a successful attorney, return to my hometown, and step up to run for my home district assembly position. In Madison, I will work to lead Wisconsin to becoming the best state in our country.
  • School Choice - Parents should have complete ability to see that their children receive an education that they believe is best for their children; whether that be public, private, charter, virtual, or home school. Parents know the way their children should be raised and educated.
  • Safe and Secure Elections - Voting should take place either through absentee or in-person voting with the use of identification to ensure the individual voting is a valid elector. Wisconsin has same-day registration to elections and requiring proof of requirements to vote are not unreasonable.
  • Limited Government - The government should not unnecessarily intrude into the lives of its citizens, the people should be free to make decisions for themselves as long as they are not infringing on the rights of others.
I am interested in policy that promotes growth of our country, and Wisconsin especially. Whether that be empowering parents to make the best education decisions for their children, ensuring there is voter confidence in the democratic processes of our elections, or reducing government's direct role over the lives of the people it governs. Government has its legitimate functions, but has greatly increased its own size and barely ever does a program get removed, thereby ever-expanding the bureaucracy.
As many do, I look up to my parents. I have a father who worked in Wisconsin's paper mills for 30 years, an over-the-road semi truck driver, and U.S. Navy veteran and a mother who worked at the local grocery store and working with medical records for many years. I have seen their hard-working attitude and sacrifices made for myself and my siblings so we could have a strong education that prepared us to succeed.
A willingness to have an honest discussion with those who disagree with your position. Also listening, because too often people talk past one another without actually hearing the point or issue the other is trying to say or ask.
I enjoy having discussion and hearing people's position out, even if I disagree with them, and having a calm, rational discussion over topics.
The federal government realizing that its role is limited to those enumerated rights found in the Constitution and those not enumerated are left to the States under the 10th Amendment.
You will need to be able to work with your peers, no one can pass any legislation without being able to work with others throughout the process.
