I am proud to be a native Texan, born in Houston and raised right down the road in Richmond, Texas. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in 2005. I was born with a neuromuscular disease that resulted in being in a wheelchair for most of my teenage years. Being in a wheelchair, I learned a lot about pushing myself beyond my limits, gritty determination no matter the odds, and what it meant to be served by friends and strangers alike. As a result, I now always look for opportunities to serve others. Through much prayer and hard work, I have not used a wheelchair in over 20 years.

I moved to Sealy in 2008, and almost immediately started serving our community as a volunteer firefighter / EMT on the Sealy fire department and as a structural specialist (disaster engineer) with Texas A&M Task Force 1, deploying the fertilizer plant explosion in West, Texas, numerous hurricanes including Hurricane Harvey, and my latest deployment to Perryton following the recent tornado.

I have helped lead worship, taught Sunday school and volunteered with vacation bible school. I married the best wife in the world, Jessica, in 2015, and we have two daughters, 4 and 6 years old.

I started my own engineering business in 2016, where I specialize in the design of boats, barges, and yachts. I am honored and grateful to have a large portion of my practice be on historical vessels including the Elissa and Battleship Texas.
  • I am unapologetically anti-communist. The Democratic party of our grandparents' generation no longer exists. DEI initiatives are designed to divide our citizens based on race and sexual orientation. The agenda of the climate change death cult if implemented would result in billions of death the world over. The LGBTQ agenda has the goal of destroying American families. BLM is setting about to completely destroy and erase our history. Elected Democrats are anti-human advocates, seeking to acquire more power and influence, no matter the cost. They want to take away our right to bear arms so they have the freedom to hurt us. I am for stopping these Communists in any way possible. Republicans have been attempting to play defense against communis
  • The Federal Government is completely out of control. The FBI and IRS are targeting Conservatives and labeling them as "enemies of democracy". The ATF is changing rules without consulting Congress, resulting in millions of law abiding citizens effectively committing felonies overnight and FFL licenses being revoked at historic rates. EPA mandates have no business in Texas. The federal government is unceasingly printing money without any backing, resulting in the highest inflation this country has had in a century. As a state, we must reign in the influence of the Federal Government on our fellow citizens. Federal police and regulatory agencies must be thrown out of our state.
  • Secure the Border: If you've seen the movie, Sound of Freedom, you know that human trafficking is a huge problem. The Federal Government encourages an unprecedented number of foreigners to enter our nation illegally. Many women and children who cross our borders are the victims of human trafficking. There is no excuse for not securing our border. Furthermore, we have terrorists coming across our border who intend to do us harm. Democrats are completely willing to trade your life for their political power, and the Republican Party largely stands by and does nothing. We must ct, e must secure the border, and we must do it now.
I am passionate about preserving our God-given freedoms. To date, the conservative movement has not conserved anything. We must change that. We must push back against the communist movement in our country.

That starts with defending our gun rights and actually playing offense on this issue for the first time in our lives. We must completely deregulate short barreled rifles and suppressors. For the sake of our children, we must eliminate all so-allied “gun free zones”. Gun free zones are nothing more than soft targets for deranged Marxist incels who want to murder children.

We must secure our border. It is clear that the federal government is working with the Mexican drug cartels to allow human and drug trafficking across our border. We must send the national guard to the border, we must create a state border unit within DPS, and we must make it impossible for illegal aliens to stay in our state. We must pass laws that prohibit illegal aliens from buying or renting property. Illegal aliens should not be allowed to drive, own, or rent a car. Their kids should not be allowed to go to school and take away instructional time and resources from the children of our citizens and permanent residences.

We must get the federal government out of Texans’ lives. I am for TEXIT, convention of states, legislative actions, or anything else that gets the federal Govenrment off of the backs of Texans.
I look up to my dad. He is a great man, and I hope I am like him in my life. He always loved my mom, myself, and my sister. He taught me how to lead a family. He always spent time with us. He and my mom taught my sister and I about Jesus and to have a passion for reading the Bible.
The terror attacks on 9/11. I was 18 and a freshman in college at Texas A&M. I was in my dorm room watching live TV as the second plane hit. I remember the solemnes of the day, everyone pulling together, and bombing my first every college test in Calculus 2 later that evening.
My first job after college was as a structural and weight control engineer at Mustang, designing topsides structures for the offshore oil and gas industry. I was there for 2 years.
The establishment Republican Party wins back the house, senate, and presidency…. Then they do something. It’s funny because it never happens.
Attorney General Ken Paxton, True Texas Project, Phil Stephenson
