I have been licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio since 2002 and has owned and operated his law office since 2005. During the past twenty years, while working in business law, Ohio Liquor Law, representing persons injured on the job or in a life altering accident, civil litigation and civil rights law, I have tried over 200 cases.

In the past twelve years I have focused my practice on representing persons who have been charged with a crime and to representing individuals who have had their Civil Rights violated. I am licensed to practice law in all State courts of Ohio, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, and I previously sat as a Magistrate in the Garfield Heights Municipal Court in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.

During college and law school, I worked multiple jobs to make ends meet and raise my daughter. These experiences included construction, landscaping, tile setting, bartending, restaurant server, fork lift operator and truck loader for UPS, and I even worked as a gravedigger for a summer. I know what hard work is and I know what it means to work hard.
  • Fair and Just Sentencing
  • Safeguarding Constitutional Rights of Litigants
  • Respecting the office of Judge by treating everyone with respect and dignity.
All persons who appear before the Court should be treated with dignity and respect. Where you come from or how much money you have should not determine your standing before the Court. We all have a right to be treated fairly and equally in the eyes of the law. My plan is to abolish disparate sentencing in our courts an improve a system of transparency for criminal sentences handed out by judges in Cuyahoga County.

Our system of justice needs to focus on education, not incarceration, job training, not jail. We need to focus on keeping fathers in the home by providing a pathway to success, rather than locking everyone up.

I am a man of the people and a great communicator. I have worked numerous jobs throughout my life including jobs in the construction trades, hospitality industry and sales. I believe everyone has the right to have their day in court and all persons should be treated with fairness and respect.

It is an open seat, and I am best suited for the job.
No. While it may add to the experience of a candidate, I also believe a Judge should have considerable experience in the private sector representing citizens of our state.
My primary concern is transparency in sentencing. There needs to be a statewide system available to the public that shows a judge's record of sentencing with the ability to compare and contrast sentences across the State.
To promote a greater ability of access and transparency for litigants before the Court.
Sure, Ohio State Supreme Court or United States Federal District Court Judge
No. I believe it is often very political and politics has no place in the courtroom.
As the government is "We The People..." I believe that transparency and accountability are very important. Unfortunately, we are seeing more often than not that those in government are NOT held accountable for their actions.

I grew up the youngest of five children in Middleburg Heights, a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. My father, a Marine, worked at ALCOA for over thirty-five years to support our family. My mother, a schoolteacher, left her career early on to raise our family and ensure we had a safe and nurturing household. My father taught me the value of dedicated work ethic, while my mother emphasized the importance of a good education.

In 1992, following graduation from Midpark High School, I attended Kent State University to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and Justice Studies (1996). After graduating from Kent State, my acceptance to Cleveland Marshall College of Law lead to my law degree in 2001. During college and law school, I worked multiple jobs to make ends meet and raise my daughter. These experiences included construction, landscaping, tile setting, bartending, restaurant server, and as a gravedigger for a summer. I know what hard work is and I know what it means to work hard. Since 2003 when I began my own law practice, it has always been my professional mission to represent persons in need of someone to safeguard their rights. For twenty years I have represented people against government persecution and abuse. The foundation of my goal is to protect and defend the rights afforded to all citizens under the Constitution of the United States.

For twenty-two years I have protected and defended the rights of our citizens of Ohio and Cuyahoga County. As a Civil Rights and Constitutional defense attorney, I have ensured that persons of all walks of life received fair treatment in court by holding the government accountable to the standards required by law.
After witnessing the increasing infringement of our rights, particularly over the past two years, it became apparent to me that I could no longer watch the injustices in our system continue. I realized that I can be more effective and do more to promote an equitable system of justice from the bench.
