Tim L. Wright was a judge for the Williamson County Court at Law No. 2 in Texas. He was elected in 2002 and began serving on January 2, 2003. He was re-elected in 2014 for a four-year term.[1][2][3] Wright served on the bench until his resignation in May 2015 after pleading guilty to two counts of selling firearms without a license.[4]

Wright earned a B.A. from North Texas State University in 1968, going on to receive his J.D. from Baylor University in 1970.[2] From 1970 until his judicial election in 2002, Wright practiced law in various capacities. He served as city attorney for the City of Round Rock from 1972 to 1977.[2]
