Tim Ozinga
Tim Ozinga (Republican Party) was a member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing District 37. He assumed office on January 13, 2021. He left office on April 8, 2024.
Ozinga (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Illinois House of Representatives to represent District 37. He did not appear on the ballot for the general election on November 5, 2024.
Ozinga resigned on April 8, 2024, stating that “it has been a privilege to serve the constituents of the 37th District."[1]
Biography
Tim Ozinga earned a bachelor's degree in business management and political science from Trinity Christian College and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University. Ozinga's career experience includes co-owning and working as the executive vice president of Ozinga Bros. Inc.[2][3]

The 37th Republican Representative District Committee chose Patrick Sheehan as the party's nominee to replace Tim Ozinga in the general election. Ozinga resigned from his seat in the state legislature and withdrew from the 2024 race, and Sheehan was appointed to replace him in the chamber and the race.[4]

Tim is a co-owner and executive vice president of Mokena-based Ozinga Bros. Inc., a fourth-generation family-owned American company specializing in ready-mix, energy, logistics, and construction materials with operations in five states. The company is known for its iconic red and white striped concrete mixers. He is the son of former congressional candidate Marty Ozinga III.
An active member of his community, Tim has served on the Village of Mokena's Economic Development Commission and its Technology Committee. In 2019, he was elected to the Mokena Community Park District Board of Commissioners and currently serves as board secretary. He is also an active member of Calvary Church of Orland Park.
