Tim Parker
Tim Parker was a judge for the Western District of the Carroll County District Court in Arkansas. He was appointed to this position in January 2013 by Governor Mike Beebe.[1]
Parker resigned in January 2017 after being accused of arranging bonds and releases of female defendants in exchange for sexual favors. He maintained that he was innocent of the allegations, but resigned in order to avoid being formally charged with judicial misconduct.[2]
Biography
Parker received his undergraduate degree from Hendrix College and his J.D. from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He has began working as a lawyer in 1991. He was a municipal judge from 1999 to 2004, and has also been an attorney in private practice with the Parker Law Firm.[1]
