Tim Seip was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 29 of the Pennsylvania State Senate. Seip served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2007 until 2010, representing the 125th District.

Seip earned his B.S. in Criminal Justice Administration from Mansfield University. He went on to receive his MSW from Marywood University.

Seip's professional experience includes his work in the following positions: Social Worker for the State Correctional Institution at Frackville, Schuylkill County CASSP Coordinator, Lead Therapist for the Family Support Unit of ReDCo, and Social Worker for the Senior Behavioral Unit of the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.

Seip ran in the 2012 election for Pennsylvania Senate District 29. Seip ran unchallenged in the Democratic primary on April 24 and was defeated by incumbent David Argall (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012. [1][2]

2010

Seip lost his bid for re-election to the 125th District seat in 2010. He was unopposed in the May 18 Democratic primary. Republican Mike Tobash defeated Seip and independent Dennis Baylor in the general election which took place on November 2, 2010.[3]

2008

On November 4, 2008, Seip won re-election to the 125th District seat of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He received 15,354 votes, defeating Republican Gary Hornberger (12,200).[4]
