Tim Silfies was a 2018 Libertarian candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 7th Congressional District of Pennsylvania. He also ran in a special election which coincided with the regular 2018 election on November 6, 2018. The winner of the special election served in Congress until Charlie Dent's (R) term expired on January 1, 2019.
