Biography

Tim Walsh served in the U.S. Army from 1980 to 1992. He earned a bachelor's degree from the United States Military Academy West Point in 1984 and a graduate degree from Stanford in 1992. His career experience includes working as a construction professional.[1]

Tim Walsh is first and most importantly, a dad to Alex and Natalie and husband to Lisa, his wife of 32 yrs. He is a proud West Point graduate, and decorated combat veteran, being the recipient of a Bronze Star for heroism in the 1st Gulf War. Before leaving the Army, Tim earned his master's degree in Civil Engineering and Construction Management from Stanford. Tim has always been an outdoor enthusiast & conservationist, which naturally drew him to Colorado. His love for Colorado is evident in everything he does from riding his bicycle and hiking with his dog Tucker, to his proposals for smart environmental stewardship. As a community leader, Tim has sat on numerous boards dedicated to serving our most vulnerable children, so they have the means to obtain an excellent education, just like his own kids. He is also an entrepreneur and job creator. Tim Walsh is the founder and president of the industry-leading commercial real estate development firm, Confluence Companies. Tim and Lisa have made beautiful Jefferson County their home for over 2 decades.

  • Public Safety - Support measures to keep repeat offenders behind bars. Develop regional solutions to homelessness.
  • Education - Promote K-12 education excellence & transformation, and empower parents to make the best education choice for their kids
Colorado is unaffordable due to ever-increasing costs for gas, groceries, healthcare, and housing. Smart, balanced public policies will help all Coloradoans.

Crime is increasing at an alarming rate in Colorado and affects every citizen.
Innovation in our education system is essential to improving the outcome for our kids.

Environmental stewardship is imperative to keep Colorado pristine.
