Endorsements
Wu received the endorsement of the New York State Public Employees Federation and The New York Times prior to the primary election.[3][4]

2014
Wu, who is credited with coining the term "net neutrality," was running on a platform that includeed blocking the merger of Comcast and Time-Warner.[2] He argued for a stronger regulatory role for the New York Public Service Commission, as well as enforcement of existing antitrust lawsuits.[5]
