Timothy Coleman

Timothy "Tim" Coleman is a judge of the 38th Judicial Circuit in Kentucky, serving Butler, Edmonson, Hancock, and Ohio counties. He was appointed to the bench by Gov. Matt Bevin (R) on April 7, 2017. To continue serving past the end of his appointment, he will have to win the seat in the November 2018 election.[1]
Biography
Coleman earned an undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky University and a J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law.[1]
At the time of his appointment to the bench, Coleman was Commonwealth's Attorney for the 38th Judicial District. His professional experience includes work as a partner at the Lexington firm Jackson Kelly PLLC and as Butler County Attorney. Coleman has served as the articles editor for the Kentucky Law Journal, the president of the Kentucky Commonwealth's Attorney Association, and a member of the Prosecutors Advisory Council.[1]
