Timothy J. DeGeeter
Timothy J. DeGeeter (b. 1969) was a Democratic member of the Ohio House of Representatives. He represented the 15th District from his appointment in 2003 until 2012. He resigned in 2012 after being elected Mayor of Parma in November 2011. Nicholas Celebrezze (D) was appointed to replace him.
Biography
DeGeeter's professional experience includes working as an attorney in private practice. DeGeeter has also served as a council member, on the Parma City Council, representing Ward 4. His other professional experience includes working as an assistant law director in Avon Lake and an assistant prosecutor for the City of Berea.
DeGeeter attended Holy Cross Junior College. He received a B.A. in political science from John Carroll University and a J.D. from Cleveland Marshall College of Law.[1]
