As a parent, taxpayer, business owner and current Trustee, my priority has not changed: To ensure our precious tax dollars provide quality education at Saddleback College and Irvine Valley College—two of the best community colleges in the state and nation.

I am seeking re-election to serve a four-year term as the Trustee for Area 7. I love South Orange County and am a 25-year resident of Mission Viejo. I'm a passionate supporter of our exceptional community colleges, Saddleback College and Irvine Valley College.

In December of 2022, I was elected by my fellow Trustees to serve as President of the Board of Trustees. As Board President, I lead by bringing people together to keep our colleges great and focused on student success.

As a Trustee I have:

-Ensured our precious tax dollars go into the classroom

-Supported teachers who motivate students to reach their highest potential

-Promoted partnerships with businesses that led to internships and employment for our students

-Supported balanced budgets, no new taxes and no student tuition hikes

My 35 years in business and nonprofit leadership have taught me this: if it’s working, don’t change it. Just make it better. Re-electing me will continue the exceptional education our community deserves.

It's truly an honor to represent the residents of Area 7 as your Trustee.

Re-elect Trustee Tim Jemal. www.timjemalfortrustee.
  • As the current Trustee, I have been a leader in ensuring our precious tax dollars go into the classroom. I will continue to put students first and maintain our educational excellence with two of the best colleges in the state and nation, Saddlback College and Irvine Valley College.

I will also continue to be the Board leader in promoting partnerships with businesses that led to internships and employment for our students.

Under my leadership, our Advanced Technology & Education Park (ATEP) in Tustin has forged partnership with businesses offering greater opportunites for hands-on learning for our students.
  • I will continue supporting teachers who motivate students to reach their highest potential. We have an oustanding faculty and which is a key reason Irvine Valley College and Saddleback College are respectively ranked as the #1 and #5 community colleges in California. The exciting part is that both colleges continue to adapt and improve our education and athletic progams. I am confident we will continue to be one of best community colleges districts in the nation.
  • As a Trustee, I will continue to ensure our community college district has balanced budgets, no new taxes and no student tuition hikes.
I'm a passionate supporter of our exceptional community colleges, Saddleback College and Irvine Valley College.

My goal is to maintain the trust and support of the residents by being transparent and focused on policies that put our students first. The approach is working and I could not be prouder to serve as your Trustee.
My father and grandfather. Hard work, treat people with respect and always bring your best self. I try to follow in their footsteps every day.
To be transparent, ethical and ensure our precious tax dollars are used effectively.
As a community college Trustee, it's imperative to focus on what is best for our students. I have never waivered from this commitment.

The results of this focus and commitment have demonstrated that Saddleback College and Irvine Valley Collge our the jewels of our community. The South Orange County Community College District is a true success story.
I don't think about my legacy. As the Board of Trustees President, I focus on bringing people together to keep our colleges great and put our students first.

I believe my leadership has helped establish a culture of transparency, accountability and providing world-class and affordable education for our residents.
I am an independent leader not guided by partisan politics. I have worked tirelessly to successfully earn substantial support from a broad spectrum of community leaders, local businesses, faculty, students, and elected officials from both parties throughout Orange County.
I have ensured that both Saddleback College and Irvine Valley College have excellent health centers to serve the needs of our students, faculty and staff.
