Timothy Kerns is a judge for the Nineteenth Judicial District of Colorado. He was appointed to the bench by Governor Bill Ritter on January 1, 2011, and he was retained by voters in 2014.[1]  His six-year term was set to expire on January 11, 2021.[2]

Kerns was retained to the Nineteenth Judicial District with 67.7 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [3]

2010

Kerns was retained in 2010 with 64.36% of the vote.[4]

Education

Judge Kerns received his B.A. from Central Methodist College in 1991 and his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 1994.[1]

Career

Prior to joining the district court in 2011, Kerns was a judge for the Weld County Court from 2007 to 2010. Before that, he worked as a lawyer in private practice.[1]
