Timothy McCormack is a former judge for the Eighth District Court of Appeals in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.[1] He served on the court from 2013 to 2019.

Education

McCormack received his undergraduate degree from Miami University in Ohio and his J.D. from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.[2]

Career

From 2005 until his election to the Ohio Eighth District Court of Appeals in 2012, McCormack served as a commissioner for the Victims Crimes Division of the Ohio Court of Claims. He also previously served in both the Ohio House of Representatives and Ohio State Senate, as well as four terms as an auditor for Cuyahoga County.[1]

Elections

2012

McCormick won the Democratic primary on March 6, 2012, receiving 29.96 percent of the vote. He defeated Kenneth R. Spanagel in the general election on November 6, 2012, winning 71.81 percent of the vote.[3][4][5]
