Timothy P. McCarthy was a judge of the 15th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was appointed in 1998. He was re-elected in 2006 and 2012.[1][2][3] Though his final term was to expire in January of 2019, McCarthy resigned in 2014.[4][5]

McCarthy ran for re-election to the 15th Judicial Circuit Court on August 14, 2012. He defeated Jody Lane with 37.7% of the vote.[3][6]

Education

McCarthy was born in Buffalo, New York, on September 9, 1945. He received his B.S. degree from Indiana State University in 1968 and his J.D. degree from the University of Notre Dame School of Law in 1971.[7]
