Timothy Reardon
Timothy A. Reardon was an associate justice on the California First District Court of Appeal, Division Four. He was appointed by former Governor George Deukmejian and took his oath on August 20, 1990. He was retained by voters in 1994 and again in 2010.[1]
Education
Reardon earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1963 and his J.D. from Hastings College of the Law in 1966.[2]
Career
Reardon served as a deputy attorney general and senior assistant attorney general for the California Department of Justice. He also served as a deputy district attorney for Alameda County and as a special assistant United States attorney for the Northern District of California. Reardon was appointed to the San Francisco Municipal Court in 1983. He was appointed to the San Francisco Superior Court in 1985, serving as presiding judge of the criminal division from 1998 to 1989. Reardon was a superior court judge until his appointment to the California First District Court of Appeal in 1990.[2]
