Timothy R. Rice is a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He was appointed to this position on March 21, 2005.[1][2]

Education

Judge Rice earned his law degree in 1986 from the Temple University School of Law.[3]

Career

Judge Rice began his career as a law clerk for Judge Anthony J. Scirica on the U.S. District Court for the District of Pennsylvania (1986-1987) and then the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit (1987-1988). From 1988 until his judicial appointment in 2005, Mr. Rice served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He is also an adjunct faculty member at the Temple University School of Law.[3]
