Timothy S. Driscoll
Timothy S. Driscoll is a justice of the Nassau County Supreme Court in the 10th Judicial District of New York. He was elected to this position in 2008.[1][2]
Education
Driscoll received his B.A. degree from Hofstra University in 1988 and his J.D. degree from the Harvard Law School in 1991.[1]
Career
Driscoll began his career in 1991 as a law clerk to Judge Joseph McLaughlin of the U.S. Court of Appeals, 2nd Circuit. The following year, he became an associate of the law firm of Williams & Connolly. He then worked from 1996 to 2000 as an Assistant Nassau County District Attorney. He was an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York from 2000 to 2004 and a Deputy Nassau County Executive from 2004 to 2008. He was then elected to the Supreme Court. He has also taught as an adjunct professor at the Brooklyn Law School since 1998 and was a member of the Harvard Law School Trial Advocacy Teaching Team in 2003, 2006 and 2007.[1]
