Timmy is a powerful community advocate with a track-record of setting and achieving ambitious goals for Massachusetts. He was a leader in putting the state's largest public fossil fuel emitter on track to be powered by 100% renewable energy by 2032. As the Executive Director of a statewide non-profit, he has helped bring Massachusetts the closest it's ever been to guaranteeing debt-free public college to all residents. Trained by the Midwest Academy for Social Change in grassroots community organizing, he has led electoral and issue-based campaigns across Massachusetts.

When he was an undergraduate at UMass Amherst, he was twice elected student body president, representing 22,000 students on a progressive platform that prioritized food security, racial justice, economic equity and immediate solutions to the global climate crisis. By working with several people across the campus community, he won a cheaper meal plan for students and put UMass on track for 100% renewable energy.

Timmy interned for Senator Elizabeth Warren helping with constituent services. He also researched excessive CEO pay in the pharmaceutical industry, and compiled survey data that went into a report on gun violence in schools and the need for greater mental health support.

At age 22, Timmy became the Executive Director of PHENOM – the Public Higher Education Network of Massachusetts, a state-wide advocacy organization dedicated to making sure everyone has the right to an education.
  • Tackling Corruption! Massachusetts is the only state whose legislators have exempted themselves from public records law. Together, we will correct this and make our democracy transparent and accountable to the people.
  • An Affordable, Green Future! Together we will put Massachusetts on the fast-track to rely on 100% renewable energy that lowers costs for rate-payers by creating public regional micro-grids!
  • Strengthening Our Public Schools & Colleges! We will make public college debt-free for all residents of the Commonwealth, regaining our position as "the education state."
Tackling Corruption: I plan to make committee votes in the State House public and available; reinstate term limits for the Speaker of the House; reinstate public funding for elections; ensure 72 hours for public viewing of legislation before a vote; increase civic participation with automatic & same-day voter registration.

Strengthening Our Public Schools & Colleges: I plan to pass universal child care and pre-kindergarten; guarantee debt-free public higher education; increase mental health resources in schools; strengthen teachers’ right to bargain for fair contracts; hire and retain more educators of color.

Winning an Affordable, Green Future: I plan to lower energy costs with public renewable energy; transition to 100% renewable energy, immediately; create public residential composting retrofit buildings for resilience, energy efficiency, and ‘living building’ standards; expand electric fare-free public transit.

Healthcare: I plan to end out-of-pocket costs, such as co-pays and deductibles; cap pharmaceutical drug prices; guarantee healthcare to everyone through single payer healthcare; expand coverage for mental health services.

Ending the Opioid Epidemic: I plan to fund comprehensive recovery programs; eliminate prescription marketing; make big pharma pay for its role in the opioid crisis; promote healthcare & recovery as the solution to substance-related charges.

Workers' Rights: I plan to support & protect workers right to form a union and to strike
