I am a successful business professional with a background in the mortgage and real estate industry. Born into a Hispanic, low-income family, I have firsthand experience with financial challenges. Despite personal hardships, including my mother's health struggles, my hard work and resilience led me to become the first in my family to earn a college degree. I even worked two jobs to pay off my student loans. Throughout my career, I have worked for local small businesses, including startup companies. Local businesses play such an important role in our communities, and I have always loved being a part of their growth and success. Additionally, I became a self-employed independent contractor when I began my career as a licensed Realtor. On a personal note, I love volunteering, coaching, and spending time with my family. Regarding government and politics, I deeply believe in freedom, limited government, and fiscal responsibility. I will advocate for policies that stimulate economic growth, support local businesses, and help people keep more of their hard-earned money. We must strengthen our state government so that our freedoms return to what our founding fathers originally intended.
  • I am committed to ensuring fiscal accountability and safeguarding taxpayers' hard-earned money by implementing responsible budgeting practices to avoid unnecessary debt. By minimizing government waste and inefficiency, we can create a more streamlined and effective government. Additionally, I will advocate for lower taxes to stimulate economic growth and allow individuals to keep more of their earnings.
  • I aim to enhance Pennsylvania's competitiveness to retain existing businesses, attract new ones, and create good-paying jobs. By reducing regulatory burdens on businesses, we can foster innovation and entrepreneurship. Providing incentives for businesses to stay and expand within the state will further strengthen our economic base. Additionally, promoting workforce development programs will ensure we meet industry needs and support a thriving job market
  • I am dedicated to enhancing the quality of education while ensuring safety in schools and communities. By advocating for rigorous academic standards, we can improve educational outcomes for all students. Supporting school choice initiatives will empower parents and students to find the best educational fit for their needs. Expanding access to vocational training and higher education opportunities will help prepare students for future careers. Additionally, implementing policies that bridge the gap between education and job market needs will ensure students are ready for the workforce. Providing proper funding for school safety measures and resource officers is essential to maintain a safe learning environment.

I look up to my grandmother. Despite having a hard life, she always opened her heart and home to everyone. She always put others first and lived to ensure her family was taken care of.

Accountability
Commitment to limited government

Integrity is paramount, as it builds trust and ensures that the official is acting in the best interests of their constituents. Accountability means being transparent with the public and taking responsibility for one's actions and decisions. A commitment to limited government involves advocating for policies that reduce unnecessary regulation, promote individual freedoms, and allow for greater personal responsibility.

Additionally, fostering a sense of unity and collaboration is crucial. An effective elected official should strive to bring people together, finding common ground and working across party lines to address the needs and concerns of all constituents.

Building consensus
My very first job was at Wendy's. I had this job in high school when I first got my worker's permit. I had it for a year and a half.
Yes, building relationships with other legislators is highly beneficial. It promotes collaboration across party lines, crucial for advancing legislation that benefits all constituents by facilitating effective negotiation and consensus-building. Additionally, these relationships enhance effectiveness in navigating the legislative process by fostering the exchange of ideas and expertise, leading to better-informed decisions. Moreover, strong relationships among legislators contribute to a more respectful and productive legislative environment, reducing political polarization and promoting civil discourse. Overall, these connections are essential for effective governance, legislative success, and fostering a healthy political climate that serves the public's interests.
The legislature should oversee the use of emergency powers rather than granting them outright. Oversight ensures that emergency powers are exercised responsibly, with accountability to the public and adherence to constitutional principles. This oversight typically involves setting clear guidelines and limitations on when and how emergency powers can be invoked, ensuring that they are used only when necessary and for a limited duration. By maintaining this balance of power, the legislature ensures that emergency actions remain aligned with democratic values and do not unduly infringe upon individual rights or undermine the rule of law.
I believe that financial transparency and government accountability are essential pillars of effective governance. It's crucial for the public to have access to clear and understandable information about how taxpayer money is being spent. This transparency not only fosters trust between the government and its citizens but also enables informed public discourse and oversight.

Accountability complements transparency by ensuring that elected officials and government agencies are held responsible for their actions and decisions. This includes being accountable to the public through fair and impartial mechanisms, such as audits, oversight committees, and transparent reporting practices. By upholding financial transparency and government accountability, we can strengthen democratic principles, promote ethical conduct, and enhance the overall effectiveness of public service.
