I was born and raised in Idaho, graduating from Vallivue High School and the University of Idaho. My husband and I have been married for 33 years and we have adopted three children who are now grown, and we are the happy grandparents of three. I'm a retired homeschool mom, a musician, gardener, follower of politics, and a Christian.
  • Our freedoms in Idaho are being stolen, and I am ready to stand in the gap and fight for freedom for the people of Idaho.
  • Taxes are too high because government is too big. We must cut the unnecessary programs and allow the citizens of Idaho to keep more of their hard-earned money.
  • We need a new way of educating children. We need a system that is responsive to parents, and provides parents real choices; choices that are affordable and effective in the education of our young people.
Liberty is my number one priority. The government, unelected bureaucrats and big businesses are not our nanny. We must take back our freedom in Idaho and stop the slide into full-on socialism.
I greatly admire Dorothy Moon for her no-nonsense, tell-it-like-it is attitude. She is a straight shooter, and unwilling to compromise the truth.
Honesty, integrity, reliability, someone who is conscientious, thorough, and has a good work ethic. Someone who truly cares for others and isn't motivated by selfish ambition.
Honesty, integrity, reliability, and a desire to serve my fellow Idahoans and represent their concerns and interests.
I would like to leave a legacy of freedom; freedom for my children and grandchildren to pursue their dreams unhampered by government and bureaucratic overreach.
One of the pieces that we're playing in the symphony.
According to the constitution, the legislature is to make laws and the governor is to see that they are implemented.
Idaho's greatest challenge is coping with and managing the tremendous growth that is occurring.
I do think that is beneficial. It is always beneficial to build relationships with colleagues, as we work together for the people of Idaho.
There are a number of committees I would enjoy serving on, including education, health and welfare, local government, revenue and taxation, state affairs, and transportation and defense.
I wouldn't rule that out, but at this time I am simply interested in representing my fellow Idahoans in the House of Representatives.
The legislature should most definitely oversee the governor's use of emergency powers, to be sure that those powers are not overused and/or abused.
I believe that policymakers should cooperate, be respectful, and cultivate good working relationships, but I will never compromise where the truth is concerned.

2017

Lambert submitted the following statement to the Clark County voters' guide:[6]

I have been passionate about education for over twenty years; first as a home educator and now as the parent of a student in the Battle Ground School District. I have been continually impressed with the work I have seen being done in the district and would like to use my time and talents to support this work as a member of the Battle Ground School Board.[7]

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Idaho

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
