Tina Maria McSoley was the District 4 representative on the Martin County School Board in Florida. She defeated Maura Barry-Sorenson in the general election on August 26, 2014. She left office in 2018.

McSoley earned both her bachelor's and master's degree from Florida State University. She is a former educator, having served as an elementary teacher. She has owned All About Achieving Learning Centers.[1]

The August 26, 2014, general election in Martin County featured three seats up for election. Jennifer Ann Doak, Christia Li Roberts and Loretta "Lorie" Shekailo were running to replace Michael Busha, who did not file for re-election in District 1. None of the three candidates received more than 50 percent of the vote in the general election. Christia Li Roberts and Loretta "Lorie" Shekailo, the top two vote-getters, advanced to the runoff election, which was held on November 4, 2014. Challenger Tina Maria McSoley defeated incumbent Maura Barry-Sorenson for the District 4 race, and incumbent Rebecca Jean Negron ran unopposed and won re-election.
