Tinley Park Term Limits Question (November 2012)
A Tinley Park Term Limits Question was on the November 6, 2012 ballot in the village of Tinley Park, which is in Cook County, where it was approved.
This measure sought to enact term limits for elected officials in the village. The issue was brought to the ballot via citizen petition. The man behind the petition stated that he was not against any current office holder, but that term limits are a natural part of an elected job. This measure was an advisory, so if approved it would still need to be enacted by village officials.[1]
