Tjuana Byrd ran unsuccessfully for Division 11, Subdistrict 6.2 judge on the Sixth Circuit in Arkansas.
Education
Byrd received her undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and her J.D. from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.[1]
Career
Byrd is in private practice in North Little Rock. In addition, she serves as the Assistant City Attorney for North Little Rock and as Sherwood Public Defender. Previously, she worked in the Pulaski County Public Defender's office for five years.[1]
Elections
2012
Byrd was defeated by Patti James and John Hout in the primary election on May 22, 2012, receiving 22.45% of the vote.[2]
