I am married with three children. After graduating college with an Electrical Engineering degree, I served in the U.S. Air Force for six years. While serving in the USAF, I earned a MBA. I then worked for the FBI for 24 years, serving the last eight years as the Agent in Charge of the State of Maine. In that capacity, I worked with numerous law enforcement and civilian agencies in this great State. After retiring from the FBI, I became a Reserve Police Officer with Kennebunk PD to continue serving this great community which welcomed my family with open arms many years ago. I am an active member of the community. I coach youth softball and soccer, I am an active member of St Martha's parish and an active member of the Knights of Columbus.
  • I will support policies that help small business and help Mainers earn a good living.
  • I will fight any new taxes or fees. I will demand accountability in Augusta in order to rein in and prioritize spending.
  • I will fight to protect ALL individual rights and freedoms.
Budget and Finance policies are critical to small business and every Mainer. We are going need smart policies and solutions to get Maine out of its budget crisis without raising taxes and fees that will crush the budgets of every hard working Mainer.

Education Policy is also critical to Maine's future. We need to provide smart policies to support a successful public school system while not overburdening each family with higher taxes. We also need to look how we support Maine's higher education system to increase graduation rates and keeping costs manageable for every student.

As Maine's population grows older on average, the healthcare policies implemented by the state need to be sensible and work for everyone. We need to provide access to quality care while keeping costs and fees lower and transparent.
One of the very first events I remember is Apollo 11 and the broadcast of the first steps on the moon. I was a young boy glued to the TV. Like almost every child, I wanted to grow up to be an astronaut. I have been fascinated with the space program ever since. I was able to partially live out my dream when I joined the U.S. Air Force. I was assigned to the space shuttle program and was responsible for a critical launchpad system.
