As a fiscal conservative and businessman, I will work to improve our quality of life by addressing our transportation needs within our existing budget, by continuing to support economic development and growth, and by helping the Sheriff with the support he needs to protect our school children and our community.

President Reagan was shot and I learned about it while delivering newspapers door to door.

I was a paperboy for about a year at a very young age.

Christmas because it is an opportunity to worship God and to be a blessing to others while sharing time with family.
What is your favorite thing in your home or apartment? Why?
The Marks Family Bible (late 1800's) given to me by my grandfather.

There are numerous appointments to boards and commissions that serve an important role in the community.
What kind of skills or expertise do you believe would be the most helpful for the holders of this office to possess?
The ability to listen and understand the views of numerous stakeholders in the community is essential to being an excellent representative.
What qualities does this office possess that makes it a unique and important part of the local government?
The County Commissioners oversee a $5.4B budget.
Do you believe that it’s beneficial for holders of this office to have previous experience in government or politics?
Experience in government and politics matters. The capacity to learn and apply knowledge and experience accumulated through private sector experience is also beneficial to the taxpayers.
