Todd Plewe

Todd Plewe is a judge on the Twenty-Second Judicial District. He was appointed by Governor Bill Ritter to succeed Sharon L. Hansen, effective October 1, 2010. [1][2]
Education
Plewe received his undergraduate degree in 1994 from Brigham Young University and his J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1997.[2]
Career
Prior to his judicial career, Plewe worked in the private practice of law. He joined the Montezuma County Court in 2002 and served in that capacity until his appointment to the Twenty-second Judicial District Court.[2]
Elections
2012
Plewe was retained in the general election on November 6, winning 67.56% of the vote.[3]

Judicial performance evaluation
The Twenty-Second Judicial District Commission on Judicial Performance announced its recommendations for judges up for retention in 2012. According to its website, the commission evaluates judges based on the following criteria: integrity, legal knowledge, communication skills, judicial temperament, and administrative performance.[4]
Judge Plewe was recommended for retention by an unanimous vote. [5][6]
